CONTRACTUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PREAMBLE

  • The Digital Coalition is an interest association of legal entities with its registered seat at Bottova 7939/2A, 811 09 Bratislava – Staré Mesto, Slovak Republic, ID No.: 52 828 123, registered in the Register of Interest Associations of Legal Entities of the Bratislava District Office with registration number OUBAOVVS12019/140232 (Digital Coalition).
  • The Digital Coalition is organising the conference Empowering Europe with Digital and Cybersecurity Skills (Conference), which will take place on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, in Brussels.
  • Considering that the Conference is not open to the public and participation is limited to a selected number of invited guests, and further considering the complexity of the administrative arrangements required for the preparation of the Conference, the mutual rights and obligations arising between the Digital Coalition and individual participants in the course of this process are governed by these Contractual Terms and Conditions (Contractual Terms and Conditions).

Article 1
Subject Matter and Effect of the Contractual Terms and Conditions

  • The Contractual Terms and Conditions supplement the contractual relationship established by the Agreement on Participation in the Empowering Europe with Digital and Cybersecurity Skills Conference (the Agreement), which will be established between the Digital Coalition and the Conference participant by registering on the digitalnakoalicia.sk portal, which is the first step of participation in the Conference.
  • The Contractual Terms and Conditions are effective from 25.5.2025.

Article 3
The Agreement

  • Upon completion of the registration on the digitalnakoalicia.sk portal in accordance with the invitation, an Agreement is concluded between the Conference participant and the Digital Coalition.
  • The subject of the contract is the obligation of the Digital Coalition to enable the Conference participant to attend in the Conference (provided that the conditions specified in the Contractual Terms and Conditions are met) and the obligation of the Conference participant to proceed in the manner specified in the Contractual Terms and Conditions and to provide the Digital Coalition with all the necessary data.
  • The Agreement shall terminate upon the conclusion of the Conference.
  • The Conference participant may withdraw from the Agreement for any reason prior to the beginning of the Conference, by sending an email to the Digital Coalition. The Digital Coalition shall confirm receipt of the withdrawal by the same means. The withdrawal must include the participant’s identification details and shall take effect upon its delivery to the Digital Coalition.

Article 4
Conference

  • The Conference will take place on 9 July 2025 in Brussels.
  • Only individuals who have been invited by the Digital Coalition and who have completed their registration no later than 7 July 2025 may participate in the Conference.
  • Participation in the Conference is conditional upon prior registration on the portal digitalnakoalicia.sk.
  • The registration form must include the following:
    1. name and surname of the participant;
    2. the participant’s email address;
    3. the name of the participant´s sending organisation or company.
  • Upon completion and submission of the registration form, the Digital Coalition will register the participant´s attendance at the Conference.

Article 5
Personal Data Protection Conditions

  • In order to participate in the Conference, the participant is required to provide certain personal data to the Digital Coalition. The provision of such personal data is a condition for allowing participation in the Conference.
  • The Digital Coalition respects the privacy of all individuals whose data it processes and is committed to protecting their privacy and handling their data responsibly.
