Spoločné_ukrajinsko-slovenské študijné programy

The Ukrainian-Slovak Joint Study Programmes have successfully strengthened cooperation, partnerships, institutional structures, and professional networks between the academic sectors of Slovakia and Ukraine.

The main objective of the programme is to develop a framework for international joint Master’s degree programmes with double-degree qualifications for Ukrainian students, particularly in the field of information technology. Over a period of 14 months, students simultaneously pursue their academic studies and gain practical experience through placements in IT companies in Slovakia. The programme currently involves several Ukrainian universities in cooperation with a Slovak higher education institution.

Since its launch in 2017, the programme has become a successful example of international academic cooperation and good practice. To date, more than 50 students have successfully completed the programme in fields such as Software Engineering, Automation and Integrated Computer Technologies, Computer Science, Project Management, and other related disciplines.

By combining academic education with practical industry experience, the programme helps students develop highly relevant skills, enhances their employability, and strengthens cross-border collaboration in higher education and innovation.
