The Digital Coalition is a national initiative founded in 2017 at the initiative of the European Commission under the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition policy. Its mission is to improve digital skills in Slovakia. It currently brings together more than one hundred key organisations from the private and public sectors with the aim of supporting education and the ICT sector in Slovakia. It is a joint platform of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, and the IT Association of Slovakia.

Partners join the Digital Coalition voluntarily and free of charge by signing the Memorandum of Partners of the Digital Coalition Initiative, together with a declaration of activities and professional contributions that support the enhancement of digital skills in society.
